An Inventory Support Consultant is responsible to maintain inventory accuracy within Hart’s warehouse. This person will be responsible for entering all material transactions (pulling/receiving/shipping) in a standard fulfillment warehouse environment.
The person in this position must possess the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, or employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expected to work independently, very little day-to-day supervision. Self-directed.
Work well in a warehouse team environment
Acquires a functional level of knowledge for all Hart InterCivic products and their modules
Manages and organizes information and documentation for vendor issues
Knowledge of standard ticket tracking software is a must. IE: Salesforce.Com.
In Depth Knowledge of standard inventory warehouse processes and procedures
Stays informed on support methodologies
Works cooperatively with Hart InterCivic field personnel to insure customer satisfaction
Complies with, and keeps up with changes in, Hart InterCivic policies, procedures and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Expected to travel to local contract warehouses (store offsite material) on an as need basis
Must carry cell phone during work hours
A minimum High School Diploma or GED, plus 4+ years working in a similar position (warehouse based inventory control environment). APICS certification a plus! A working knowledge of computer and internet operations is required. Experience with an enterprise Windows Based ERP solution is preferred. Extensive Warehouse experience is a must.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Effective written and oral communication skills are required. Must be able to generate standard checklist style procedures related to position. Must be able to generate Excel reports (both graphs and data table).
REASONING ABILITY: The ability to “multi-task”, plan time effectively, problem solve, apply logic and reason to a situation. The successful candidate must possess the ability to accurately assess a given situation and decide the logical course of action.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Support certification and membership in professional support organizations are preferred. Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Will have to do normal lifting of voting equipment and parts as part of daily routine (Containers 40 lbs or less). Will have to help ship and receive voting equipment and parts as part of the daily routine. The ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods is required.Must have own transportation to be able to drive to a local contract warehouse to witness/count offsite inventory. Mileage will be compensated based on current government rates.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Candidates will be deployed in a stationary warehouse environment with access to a computer and inventory terminal. They may be occasionally required to visit customer sites or supplier sites for various reasons or offsite inventory warehouses.
