AUSTIN, Texas – April 17, 2012 – Hart InterCivic, a leading national provider of election voting systems, management products and services, announced today Hart professional consultants will conduct logic and accuracy testing, train staff and poll workers in 45 municipalities statewide.
Cities, ISDs and an EMS system, have purchased Hart voting equipment in response to the SB 100 legislation that impacts even-year election dates. Previously, cities, school districts and political subdivisions relied on their host county to supply voting equipment for elections in even numbered years.
“The coordinated effort to teach Hart’s best practices and ensure municipal elections are conducted securely and accurately is a testament to our professional election staff,” said Hart President Derek Hutson. “Every size jurisdiction receives the same high quality service our county and state customers have come to rely on.”
