Senior Financial Analyst

Summary

Experienced financial professional needed to drive and support the preparation of financial plans, forecasts, pricing, and analytics. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and partnering with business leaders, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for FP&A, sales and deal strategic modeling and pricing, competitive/business analysis, reporting enhancements, actual vs forecast variance analysis, and ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s monthly and quarterly Forecast process
  • Prepare robust variance analysis and performance reporting
  • Create and present analytics to support management
  • Manage the Yearly Budget (e.g. Annual Plan) process
  • Own the company’s pricing processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or economics; MBA preferred

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-8 years related work experience
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills and analytical ability
  • Proficiency with P&L analysis, including unit economics and Opex variance analysis
  • Experience with RFPs and/or contracts
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and multi-task
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated, with strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
